The 2nd Generation e-POWER, developed by Nissan under the concept of Nissan Intelligent Mobility, brings an exciting and heart-pounding experience to the forefront. This innovative system continues to utilize electric motors for propulsion, while employing a small internal combustion engine to act as a power generator, ensuring a seamless flow of high-power electricity into the lithium-ion battery. Within the 2nd Generation e-POWER system, Nissan has combined the inverter and electric motor into a single unit, reducing the inverter’s size by 40% and its weight by 30%. Moreover, the lithium-ion battery capacity has increased to 2.06 kWh, making the engine work less frequently to generate electricity. This leads to reduced vibrations and noise during engine startup.
The internal combustion engine in the e-POWER system operates at its most efficient range to produce electricity, while delivering exceptional fuel efficiency. It retains the HR12DE 1.2-liter 3-cylinder DOHC engine, serving as the electricity generator for crucial components like the inverter and electric motor. These components provide a peak power output of 136 PS and a maximum torque of 280 Nm, complemented by the 2.06 kWh lithium-ion battery comprising 4 modules with a total of 96 cells. This setup ensures smooth acceleration, a quiet ride, and highly efficient fuel economy, with up to 23.8 kilometers per liter in terms of fuel efficiency and an impressive 26.3 kilometers per liter for city driving.

The Kicks e-Power is the first model in Thailand to introduce a special edition – the Autech version, in collaboration with Autech Japan, a subsidiary of Nissan Motors renowned for their sporty premium styling. This collaboration involves working with Nissan production bases in various countries to design and manufacture products that cater to the preferences of customers in each country, making the Nissan e-Power unique.
The exterior design maintains its sporty, stylish, and premium appearance. The AUTECH model is distinguished by a blacked-out roof, a floating roofline design, V-Motion front grille with LED headlights and fog lights, and a new silver metallic front finisher panel. The side features new silver metallic side skirts, silver metallic power-folding LED door mirrors, and 17-inch black metallic shadow wheels, adding a modern touch. The rear showcases booming LED taillights and a new silver metallic rear finisher panel adorned with a silver metallic rear skirt.
Inside the cabin, the design is predominantly black with accents of navy blue, harmonizing with the front console. The center console is adorned with synthetic leather in black, complemented by navy blue stitching. The modern black piano trim adds a sporty ambiance. Every model features a genuine leather-wrapped steering wheel, a newly designed contemporary center console, and a 7-inch smart TFT display with customizable views, including a brake status display when using the e-Pedal Step system. High Beam Assist (HBA): The system autonomously adjusts headlight brightness to respond to changing road conditions when using automatic high beams.
Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC): This smart technology automatically adapts your speed and maintains a safe following distance from the vehicle in front. It can bring your vehicle to a complete stop within two seconds when the vehicle in front slows down and can return to your preset speed when the road clears. You can set the following distance to three levels.
Intelligent Forward Collision Warning (IFCW): This system sounds an alert and displays a warning symbol on your instrument panel if it detects a potential frontal collision, giving you time to react.

Intelligent Trace Control (ITC): This system detects and corrects understeer or oversteer during cornering, helping to maintain stability. It can adjust and control all four brakes according to the driver’s behavior, ensuring stable handling during cornering.
The vehicle comes equipped with six safety airbags, including front driver and passenger airbags, side airbags, and curtain airbags on both the left and right sides. These airbags are standard equipment in every version of the new Nissan Kicks e-Power, enhancing passenger safety.
