The event launched with the U.S. Ambassador to Thailand, Robert F. Godec, and Supavudh Chaiprasitkul, CEO of The Mall Group’s supermarket and food management division, as special guests of honor.
Shoppers are welcomed into a classic American-style supermarket setting, where they can choose from an array of high-quality ingredients, then hand them over to a chef at the ‘You Hunt We Cook’ counter. This year, the highlight dish was prepared by Chef Ian Pongtawat Chalermkittichai, who demonstrated his signature US Prime Beef Striploin steak. The premium cut was grilled to perfection, with a flavorful crust and tender, juicy interior. The steak was topped with rich American cheese and served with rosemary, American potato wedges, butter-fried baby carrots, and a caramelized onion gravy—a true showcase of authentic American cuisine.
