Riverside Dining
With the Royal Barge Procession rehearsals in full swing, Ticy City immediately thought of the perfect spot for breathtaking photos—Eat Sight Story at Sala Arun Residence. Naturally, it was time to check out what’s new on the menu.
While there are plenty of riverside restaurants in the Tha Tien area offering clear views of Wat Arun, Eat Sight Story stands out. Located directly across from the temple, it offers an unmatched view, especially at night when the temple’s reflection shimmers on the Chao Phraya River.
Today, Eat Sight Story not only has a revamped menu that stays true to its Thai fusion roots, but also boasts a new second-floor zone, providing an even better vantage point to enjoy the stunning view while indulging in delicious, affordable dishes.
The new menu features a range of appetizers, salads, pasta, soups, main dishes, and desserts—each one more delicious than the last. But here are a few of Ticy City’s must-try picks:
Lucky Money Bag: A Thai-style appetizer with a twist—Mozzarella cheese and spinach inside, served with Thousand Island dressing.
Spaghetti Rock Lobster: The restaurant’s signature dish, packed with bold, spicy flavors and tender lobster.
Papaya Salad with Grilled Japanese Pork and Salted Egg: A favorite for both locals and visitors, with customizable spice levels.
Homemade Pizza: Freshly baked to order with a thin, crispy crust. Don’t miss the honey-roasted pork basil pizza, served in six slices per tray.
Lamb Curry: Tender, slow-cooked Aus Lamb in a rich, fragrant curry sauce, served with pita bread.
Thai Vermicelli with Crispy Kurobuta Pork: A must-try for crispy pork fans.
Massaman Beef Curry: A hearty dish for meat lovers, featuring a rich, aromatic curry made from scratch.
Spaghetti with Blue Crab Meat: Spaghetti tossed with blue crab in a bold pesto sauce for an intense flavor experience.
Baked Tiger Prawn with Cheese: A great choice for those who prefer milder flavors, featuring succulent tiger prawns topped with melted cheese, served with vegetables and carrot risotto.
Grilled Pork with Lemongrass: Perfect for those who avoid spicy food, with pork infused with the fragrant flavors of lemongrass and herbs.
For dessert lovers, don’t miss the freshly made homemade treats, including cakes and ice cream:
Chinese Jujube Sticky Pudding with Vanilla Creme Anglaise: A must-order at Eat Sight Story, served with homemade vanilla ice cream.
Homemade Tiramisu: Soft, sweet, and wonderfully creamy.
Double Banana: A popular dessert featuring banana ice cream with caramelized cashews, roasted banana, and crêpes.
Nutella Fondant: Served with homemade vanilla ice cream—this one takes about 20 minutes to prepare, but it’s worth the wait.
