Shangri‑La Bangkok welcomes the Year of the Horse with elegance and abundance at Shang Palace Chinese Restaurant. Executive Chinese Chef Kwok Ka Wai has prepared decadent set menus featuring auspicious dishes designed to bring joy, prosperity, and togetherness to every family celebration. Festive Menus and the Lo Hei Ritual

From 12 to 22 February 2026, Shang Palace invites families to indulge in three meaningful set menus. The Fortune Set, Prosperity Set, and Longevity Set are crafted to symbolize abundance, success, and long life, making them the perfect way to welcome the new year. Alongside these menus, a selection of special à la carte dishes will be available to enhance the celebration. Guests can also take part in the traditional Lo Hei tossing ritual, a joyful tradition symbolizing prosperity, wealth, and happiness. Whether choosing the Prosperity Lo Hei with salmon or the Premium Lo Hei with abalone, the higher the toss, the greater the blessings for the year ahead.

Cultural Highlights

The festive atmosphere will be enriched by live Guzheng music on 16 February during dinner and on 17 February during both lunch and dinner. To further welcome the Year of the Horse, a spectacular lion dance accompanied by traditional drumming and cymbal clashes will take place at the Shangri‑La Wing entrance on 17 February at 10:15am, bringing good fortune, health, and happiness to all who attend.
