A Buzz in the Quick Service Restaurant Market

Subway Thailand, under the management of Goluck Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of PTG Energy, has created quite a stir in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) market in Thailand. Holding the exclusive master franchise rights for Subway in Thailand, Subway Thailand aims to expand its customer base across all generations. With Cha Eun-woo as the brand ambassador, the Subway x Cha Eun-woo campaign is set to capture the hearts of many.

The Pop Up Store Experience

In collaboration with AIS, Subway has launched its first Pop Up Store at AIS Siam Square, a landmark location on the first floor of the AIS building. The store highlights Subway’s commitment to health-conscious eating by offering fresh, high-quality ingredients under the “Eat Fresh, Feel Good” concept.

Exclusive Campaign Features

To add to the excitement, Subway is offering a special campaign where customers who visit any of the 148 Subway branches nationwide can scan a QR code and enter a code from their receipt. By filling out a simple form and answering a few questions, they will receive exclusive digital wallpapers of Cha Eun-woo. There are four designs in total, with one design released each week from May 30 to June 28, 2024.

Exclusive and Popular Menu Items

The Pop Up Store offers exclusive menu items and popular Subway selections, ensuring a guilt-free, healthy dining experience. Signature items include the BBQ Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken, Subway Melt, and Steak and Cheese sets, among others. Customers can also customize their meals with the DIY menu option, available from June 5 to July 31, 2024.

Unique Features of Subway

Subway is the only QSR brand that imports its bread dough, baking fresh bread in-store daily. With five types of bread, including whole wheat, and a variety of protein options like tuna, chicken, and beef, Subway offers a wide range of healthy choices. Fresh vegetables and a selection of 12 sauces further enhance the dining experience. Customers can enjoy their meals as sandwiches, wraps, or salads, along with four flavors of cookies.

Future Expansion and New Concepts

Looking ahead, Subway plans to expand with the “Fresh Forward 2.0” design concept, which will give stores a brighter and more vibrant atmosphere. In Thailand, this new concept will incorporate local culture and design elements to better connect with Thai customers. The first store with this new concept will open at CW Tower in July.

Additionally, Subway is exploring the “Ghost Kitchen” model, focusing on delivery and order & pick-up services without a physical storefront, primarily in urban areas.
