Over the past five years, Gok Jai has honed its mooncake recipes with health-conscious individuals in mind. This transformation involves the incorporation of extracts from sweet grass, rice bran oil, and the selection of health-enhancing ingredients. This year, they’ve elevated their Plant-Based Mooncakes by introducing walnuts, white beans, sunflower seeds, and novel fillings, reducing fat and sugar content.

Their latest offerings feature

Plant-Based Mooncake with White Bean Filling: Harnessing the blood sugar-regulating properties of white beans, this filling pairs the beans with a subtle saltiness from golden beans, creating a unique and slightly savory flavor profile. Watermelon seeds add a delightful crunch.

Plant-Based Mooncake with Mock Meat Filling: Ideal for those watching their sugar intake, this filling employs plant-based protein from vegetables, providing a dense, meaty texture while remaining entirely vegetarian.

Gok Jai’s reputation extends beyond these innovations. They continue to offer classic mooncakes such as Durian-Stuffed, Lotus Seed, Salted Egg Yolk, Matcha, Black Sesame, Custard, and more, available in both single and double yolk variations, each weighing 85 grams.
