World Animal Protection Thailand Hosts Art Contest to Promote Environmental Conservation

World Animal Protection Thailand is calling on creative minds to submit their work for an exciting new contest centered on environmental conservation. With the theme, “Impact of the Animal Feed Industry on the Environment,” participants have the chance to compete for prizes totaling over 60,000 THB.

The BEHIND THE FEED PRINT-AD CONTEST encourages artists and designers to create impactful print advertisements that inspire sustainable action. The contest is open to all forms of creativity and techniques, including AI-generated art, and aims to raise awareness about the environmental effects of the animal feed industry—specifically its connection to the expansion of Thailand’s meat production industry and the disruption of natural ecosystems.

This contest not only celebrates artistic talent but also highlights the vital role of art in social change. The campaign serves as a platform for creative expression, allowing participants to engage the public and call attention to urgent environmental issues.

Judges will be evaluating submissions based on creativity, clarity, relevance to the campaign’s theme, emotional impact, and overall design. Submissions can be entered in two formats: Print and Mobile Screen Display, with no limitations on creative methods. Artists can use a blend of mediums, including illustrations, photography, graphics, and Generative AI.

The contest is open for submissions until October 21, 2024. The top 30 entries will be exhibited at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre from October 29 to November 3, 2024.
