“Royal Project 2024” at Gourmet Market and The Mall
The Royal Project Foundation, together with Gourmet Market and Gourmet Eats, is hosting the “Royal Project Product Festival.” This festival invites shoppers to explore hill tribe products under the theme “Colors of the Hill Tribes” at The Mall branches in Bangkapi, Bangkae, Korat, and at all Gourmet Market locations.

The Royal Project Foundation, in collaboration with Gourmet Market and Gourmet Eats, has organized the Royal Project Product Festival 2024. Presented under the concept “Color of Table – Colors of the Hill Tribes,” the festival showcases over 150 items produced through agricultural development efforts for highland farmers. Visitors can shop and taste cool-climate fruits and vegetables, processed products, teas, coffees, handicrafts, flowers, and dishes from well-known restaurants.

General Kampanat Ruddit, Privy Councilor and Chairman of the Royal Project Foundation Board, inaugurated the event, saying: “The Royal Project Foundation was established under the royal initiative of King Rama IX to promote the cultivation of cool-climate crops as an alternative to opium poppy farming. From its first operations at Ang Khang Royal Agricultural Station in 1969 to its latest developments at the Royal Project Development Center in Lertor, the Royal Project Foundation now supports and develops livelihoods for over 200,000 people across 39 communities in five provinces—Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Mae Hong Son, Lamphun, and Phayao. This includes four research stations and 35 development centers that produce more than 1,000 items, including fresh vegetables, fruits, processed foods, snacks, soaps, shampoos, fishery and livestock products, and flowers.”
