Historical Background: Sala Bhirombhakdi Lumpini
The Sala Bhirombhakdi Lumpini has a rich history dating back to 1925 during the reign of King Rama VI. Initially designed as a shelter, it later became the majestic Sala Bhirombhakdi Lumpini for cultural events. Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya generously donated it to the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration for public use.
