Gourmet One led by Padchcharrin Heimeaungkloon, Executive Chairman, in collaboration with Tops, a food business under Central Retail, present “Tops World Class Gourmet by Gourmet One”, a festival of world-class gourmet food and ingredients from leading global brands. Carefully curated to satisfy shoppers, gourmets, and food enthusiasts, this event offers an opportunity to stock up on premium products at special prices and receive a variety of gifts, at Tops Food Hall, Central Bang Na, daily until August 6, 2024. His Excellency Mr. Jonathan King, New Zealand Ambassador to Thailand, graciously presides over the opening at Tops Food Hall, Central Bang Na.

“Tops World Class Gourmet by Gourmet One” at Tops Food Hall, Central Bangna, showcases a selection of world-class gourmet food and ingredients from leading food-producing countries around the world, including Australia, New Zealand, the United States, France, Italy, and Spain. These products are imported and distributed by Gourmet One.

For meat lovers, this event offers a wide variety of premium meats, including:

  • Wagyu beef from Darling Downs, a renowned Australian brand, featuring their signature MB 6-7 marbled beef.
  • Mayura, a pure-bred Japanese wagyu beef raised in Australia, known for its unique characteristics due to being raised on chocolate, resulting in a balance of fat, aroma, tender texture, and rich flavour. Gourmet One is introducing this beef for the first time at this event.
  • USDA Certified Black Angus beef.
  • Premium “Ambassador” Lamb from Australia.
  • Iberico Pork from Spain.

Other world-class gourmet ingredients suitable for home cooking include:

  • Premium greenshell mussels from New Zealand, rich in iron and natural collagen.
  • De Cecco, high-quality pasta from Italy, preferred by chefs worldwide.
  • Fresh oysters from Les Parcs Saint Kerber, a long-established natural oyster farm in Brittany
  • Butter and cheese products from President, a leading French brand.
  • Black summer truffle from Italy’s Alba region.
  • Fresh, sweet, and crisp cherries from Zaragoza, a leading producer in Spain.

Special activities at the event include Chef’s Cooking Demo, where special dishes prepared with the world-class ingredients featured at the event will be demonstrated. Chef Pepe – José Martín Ruiz Berja from the Spanish-Mediterranean restaurant “Sooooo Goood Gourmet” in Soi Ratchawinit Bangkaew and Chef Aom – Itthichart Phubulnakrin (Le Grand Diplôme from Le Cordon Bleu) will showcase their cooking skills and share tips on selecting and preparing world-class ingredients for delicious meals at home.

Menu items include New Zealand Mussels in White Wine Sauce and Grilled Mayura Wagyu Beef in Red Wine Chocolate Sauce. Additionally, there is a special menu of “Sai Ao” sausages, a recipe by Chef Norbert Costner, former Executive Chef of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Bangkok. The recipe features the ingredients of Sai Ao, a popular Northern Thai dish, presented in the form of smooth sausages that retain the authentic flavors and ingredients of garlic, herbs, chili peppers, and curry paste.

“Tops World Class Gourmet by Gourmet One” also offers special promotions and gifts for customers who purchase products at the event, including thermal bags from President and Darling Downs brands, as well as special discounts for customers from participating residential projects and schools.
