ICONCRAFT has partnered with the SIRIVANNAVARI brand to launch a limited-edition collection of Thai fabric bags. Featuring exquisite 3D embroidery and intricate stitching, these stylish bags are available in a highly exclusive run of just 75 pieces.
The launch took place at the ICONCRAFT Thai Textile Hero 2024 event at ICONSIAM, marking a special tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother on her 92nd birthday, and celebrating this year’s National Thai Textile Day.
The annual ICONCRAFT Thai Textile Hero event is held every August to honor Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother for her enduring efforts in preserving and promoting Thai textiles. This year’s event is even more special, with the introduction of the S’CRAFT 2024 collection of Thai silk bags, created in collaboration with the SIRIVANNAVARI brand. These exclusive bags are now on display and available for purchase, with only 75 pieces produced.
The S’CRAFT 2024 collection was conceptualized by Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, the creative director of SIRIVANNAVARI. Her Royal Highness has continued the legacy of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, who established the SUPPORT Foundation to revive and preserve traditional Thai crafts. Inspired by this mission, Her Royal Highness designed these Thai silk bags as a tribute to Her Majesty on her 92nd birthday, under the theme “Royal Flora,” symbolizing the Queen Mother’s grace, much like a precious flower that has brought beauty and tranquility to the land for decades.
Ticy City invites you to explore the S’CRAFT: Craftsmanship 2024 collection, a limited edition of just 75 pieces. Each bag is crafted from Thai fabric by master artisans in a modern design. The silk used comes from expert weavers at the SUPPORT Foundation centers in Koh Kret, Ayutthaya, and Suan Chitlada. The bags showcase vibrant yellow and blue hues, reminiscent of a blossoming spring garden, and are embellished with exquisite 3D embroidery by master embroiderers from the SIRIVANNAVARI Atelier & Academy. Each stitch is meticulously crafted to create lifelike floral petals, inspired by hand-drawn designs by Her Royal Highness, such as the Queen Sirikit Rose and the Iris—her favorite flowers, which she previously incorporated into her high jewelry collections. These floral designs have been masterfully translated into Thai craftsmanship, celebrating the beauty of Thai silk.
The 3D embroidery technique gives each flower a realistic dimension. The bags also feature hand-smocked details, a technique that requires tens of hours to perfect, as well as intricately woven leather accents, resulting in a masterpiece of Thai craftsmanship that instills national pride.
The S’CRAFT: Craftsmanship 2024 collection includes seven bag designs, each in a variety of shapes, suitable for any occasion. Every design and color combination is a one-of-a-kind piece, including:
- S Signature Pouch: The iconic bag of the S’CRAFT collection, featuring a unique drawstring closure that shapes the bag into a compact, versatile form. This year’s model is adorned with crystal embroidery, adding a playful contrast to the fabric and expertly smocked details.
- Busaba Clutch: A luxurious, small clutch that exudes feminine charm through the softness of Thai silk. It features intricate embroidery and delicate smocking, with a wristlet design that serves as both a bag and a piece of jewelry, perfectly complementing an elegant evening gown.
- Mala Shoulder Bag: A rectangular shoulder bag with intricate floral embroidery, perfect for both day and night looks.
- Busabong Bucket Bag: A pleated bucket bag crafted from smocked Thai silk, infused with a touch of modern vintage style, complete with a structured base and sides. The short leather handles are made from high-quality calf leather, and the drawstring closure is adorned with the peacock logo.

The highlight of this year’s collection is the SIRIPruksa Clutch, a Thai silk peacock-shaped clutch adorned with real gold, silver, and precious crystals. The half-moon-shaped clutch is meticulously smocked and is a limited edition, with only one piece available in each color—silver and gold.
